A Novel

A classic Victorian novel that blends mystery, romance, and gothic elements. The story follows Walter Hartright, a young drawing teacher, who encounters a mysterious woman dressed in white on a lonely road. She appears distressed and reveals hints of a dark secret before vanishing. Walter takes a position at Limmeridge House, where he falls in love with the gentle and kind Laura Fairlie, who bears a striking resemblance to the woman in white.
