Harvey is rescued by a fishing schooner off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. Unable to persuade the captain to take him quickly to port, Harvey learns to adapt to his new life as a crew member of the fishing vessel through a series of trails and adventures.
First published in 1897, this edition is derived from the original book with 21 black and white illustrations by I. W. Taber. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
