Cornelli is the only child of her widowed yet wealthy father and is used to getting her way. When business calls her father out of town, Cornelli is sent to live with her father’s cousin in the Swiss countryside. Cornelli’s stay has a rough start, but things soon change when a boy her age comes to stay in her alpine village for a period of recuperation.
First published in 1892, this edition is derived from the book published in 1921 with 14 color illustrations and numerous page decorations by Maria L. Kirk. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
