A Tale of the Siege of Gibraltar

A historical adventure set during the siege of Gibraltar. The story follows a young orphan who is sent to Gibraltar to live with his sister, who is married to an Irish officer. Soon after his arrival, Gibraltar is sieged by French and the Spanish forces during the American War of Independence. The young hero takes part in the defense of this small British territory located on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula.

First published in 1892, this edition is derived from the original book with 8 black & white illustrations by Gordon Browne and 1 map. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
