The story of Kimball O’Hara, or ‘Kim’ for short, an orphaned son of an Irish solider and poor Irish mother who have both died in poverty. Kim lives a vagabond existence in India under British rule earning his living by begging and running small errands. Though a poor orphan, he soon finds himself at the center of both a quest for religious enlightenment and a major geopolitical rivalry.
First published in 1901, this edition is derived from the original book with 10 black & white illustrations by J. L. Kipling. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
