The stories are narrated by Puck, an elf  from A Midsummer Night’s Dream or by historical figures plucked from history by Puck. The stories and scenes are presented to two English children named Dan and Una.

First published in 1906, this edition is derived from the original book with 20 black and white illustrations by H. R. Millar. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
