This edition was edited by Frank Woodworth Pine with 118 footnotes with additional information, context, and explanation for the reader.

First published in 1818, this edition's text is derived from the book published in 1916 and the 58 black and white illustrations by Homer W. Colby are from the 1912 edition.  As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
