About
L’ile Mystérieuse
During the American Civil war, five Northern prisoners escape during the Siege of Richmond via hot air balloon. The group crash-lands on an unknown Pacific island and must build a life for themselves on their new island home. They are assisted in their quest by a mysterious force on the island. The novel is a sequel to Verne’s popular book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Seas.
