The Three Little Pigs is a fable about three pigs who build their houses out of different materials and their encounters with a wolf. The story first appeared in print in the 1840’s, but the story is thought to be much older.
The text is derived from the best known version of the tale from English Fairy Tales by Joseph Jacobs who credits James Halliwell-Phillips as his source. Illustrations and formatting follow the book illustrated by L. Leslie Brooke that was first published in 1904.
