The book is the fourth volume in a series of twelve “coloured” Fairy Books compiled by the Langs. Well known fairy tales such as Thumbelina, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and The Magic Ring, as well as many lesser known tales, are contained within the pages.

First published in 1894, this edition is derived from the  original book with 106 black and white illustrations by H. J.  Ford. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
