Through courage, resourcefulness, and loyalty, Percy takes part in dangerous journeys, military operations, and battles during the First Sikh War. He encounters both British and Sikh soldiers and gains firsthand experience of the political tensions and warfare that shaped northern India in the mid-nineteenth century.

First published in 1893, this edition is derived from the original book with 12 black & white illustrations by Hal Hurst and a map. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
