The Story of Europe

An overview of European history “from the fall of the Roman Empire to the Reformation.” The book starts with Alaric and Attila invading the Roman Empire and ends with the reformation of Martin Luther and John Calvin.  The book is intended as a primer on the larger social and political trends within European history during the middle ages. Each chapter highlights major events and historical figures in kingdoms and countries across Europe.

First published in 1920, this edition is derived from the original book with 12 black and white maps.  As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
