The story of Hugh, a page to King Richard of England, during the third crusade in June of the year 1191. The story provides an insight into life during the crusades in the camps and during battle. There were many crusades with many gallant heroes, but for his daring, bravery, and kingly spirit, King Richard of the Lion Heart is most remembered.

First published in 1921, this edition is derived from the original book with 6 black & white illustrations by Charles E. Meister. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
