The illustrated nursery rhymes of Randolph Caldecott, the British artist and illustrator who the Caldecott Medal was named in his honor. Caldecott greatly influenced the illustration of children’s book during the nineteenth century.

This edition is derived from The Complete Collection of Pictures & Songs by Randolph Caldecott, published posthumously in 1887. The illustrations were reproduced by engraver Edmund Evans. This book contains all of Randolph Caldecott’s illustrations including his many book covers. Only 800 books were produced during the first printing.
