An autobiography by William Frederick “Buffalo Bill” Cody. Cody started working at the age of eleven, after his father's death, and became a rider for the Pony Express at age 15. During the American Civil War, he served the Union. Later he served as a civilian scout for the US Army during the Indian Wars. Cody would become world-famous for Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, a touring show which traveled around the United States and Europe. Audiences were enthusiastic about seeing a piece of the American West.
First published in 1879, this edition is derived from the original book with 82 black & white illustrations. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
