The book is the twelfth and last volume in a series of twelve “coloured” Fairy Books compiled by the Langs. Well known fairy tales such as Little Lasse, The Wonderful Tune, and The The Lady of the Fountain, as well as many lesser known tales, are contained within the pages.

First published in 1910, this edition is derived from the  original book with 46 black and white and 6 color illustrations by H. J. Ford. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
