About
The Posthumous Papers
Originally entitled The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club, the story follows the adventures and misadventures of Samuel Pickwick, the kind-hearted but somewhat naïve founder of the Pickwick Club, and his three eccentric companions—Tracy Tupman, Augustus Snodgrass, and Nathaniel Winkle. The group sets out to explore England and report their observations on life and society.
First published in 1836, this edition is derived from the original book with over 44 black & white illustrations by R. Seymour and Phiz. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
