A selection of fairy tales collected and edited by Scottish author Andrew Lang and his wife, Leonora Blanche Lang. The book is the fifth volume in a series of twelve “coloured” Fairy Books compiled by the Langs. Well known fairy tales such as The Water of Life, The King who would have a Beautiful Wife, and The Golden Lion, as well as many lesser known tales, are contained within the pages.

First published in 1897, this edition is derived from the  original book with 71 black and white illustrations by H. J.  Ford. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
