About
Roosevelt’s Rough Riders
Theodore Roosevelt recounts his time leading the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry nicknamed the Rough Riders. The book recounts their training, departure for war, battles against the Spanish in Cuba, and eventual return home. The Rough Riders role in the Battle of San Juan Hill quickly became the stuff of legend thanks to Roosevelt’s writing ability.
