Riley Child-Rhymes contains some of James Whitcomb Riley’s best known poems such as “Little Orphant Annie,“ “The Raggedy Man,” and “Old Aunt Mary’s.” Riley was known for writing his poems in the Hoosier dialect providing a window into American childhood of more than a century ago.

First published in 1890, this edition is derived from the book published in 1905 with 80 black & white illustrations throughout by Will Vawter. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
