The retelling of the Æneid by Rev. Alfred J. Church.  The book is intended as an introduction to Virgil’s epic poem. The writing style is geared towards middle school aged readers as it highlights many details that are usually omitted in children’s versions of the story, yet remains very accessible to young readers.

First published in 1907, this edition is derived from the original book with 12 black and white illustrations by Pinelli Bartolomeo. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
