Or Stories for Children

A collection of moral and didactic stories for children. The tales focus on teaching virtues such as honesty, industriousness, kindness, and responsibility, often through the experiences of young people who must navigate moral dilemmas and real-world challenges. Edgeworth emphasizes the importance of education, good parenting, and the development of life skills, blending entertainment with instruction.

First published in 1796, this edition is derived from the book published in 1897 with 40 black & white illustrations by Chris Hammond. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
